Kinetic Sign For The V and A |
Troika were commisioned by the V&A to design and build a sign directing visitors to the musem from the South Kensingtion tube station (map). Their creation is called Palindrome. The V and the A rotate about a horizontal axis while the & rotates about the vertical. After each rotation the sign is either visible from the front or the back. Model Business Card |
This name card was developed for Tamiya by CreativeJuice in Bangkok. Tamiya make self assemble models - so the name card itself can be broken up and re-assembled as a plane or a car. It won a gold lion at Cannes. |

Musical Business Card Comb |
Never thought you'd hear the words: musical, business card and comb in the same sentence? Well you have now. This is a business card for a groovy hair salon in Rome called MODhair. It makes music when a finger nail is dragged over the comb teeth. The same principle as a music box. And it's a comb too. It was designed by Fabio Milito. Fab! |

Logorama |
We design a lot of logos here at yaean towers but we've never had a logo go crazy on us. That is what happens when brands go bad and attack in Logorama, an animated short that won the 2010 Academy Award. The short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5. NYPL Logo |
The New York Public Library has a new logo and typeface (press release). There's a video on YouTube (embedded below) about the evolution of the logo. The new font is Keivit by Michael Abbink. |

Hilton Worldwide Rebrands |
Hilton Worldwide, the parent of the Hilton hotel brands (Conrad etc.), has been re-branded by Landor. This follows the 2007 Blackstone buy out and the move of the corporate headquarters. The new logo looks a bit like the original logo from 1966 (see below) rotated through 90 degrees. It's a grower. Original Hilton Logo |
