Geely's Solar Bug Concept |
Geely showed off their latest solar bug at the the Beijing Autoshow 2010. Dubbed the IG (Geely Intelligence) it was originally shown at the 2009 Shanghai show. Now the drive train is a hybrid. The solar power is used for the aircon system. Look at those doors. Don't mention the DeLorean... More pics here. |

New Year Offerings |
This morning, the first day back after the New Year holiday, we made offerings and burned money for the gods and ancestors. We burned incense and offered food in our office. Outside our building, under the watchful eye of our friendly building security guard, we burned money in a re-purposed bin. |

Chinese Graphic Design In The 20th Century |
The Chinese Academy of Fine Arts Museum in Beijing (CAFA) has a new exhibition: Chinese Graphic Design in the 20th Century: A Documentary. Pictures of the exhibition are available on the CAFA website. Unfortunately the picture viewer only works in IE. Apparantly art does not extend to the fine art of cross browser testing. |
