Siemens have created the largest Christmas star by attaching 9000 LEDs to a wind turbine outside of Munich. It was a complicated project that took over a year and involved computer models, wind tunnel tests and safety issues. The project is a collaboration with Munich multimedia artist Michael Pendry. The lights get turned off tomorrow though so get yourself down the A9.
