Dell has started to use bamboo in some of its packaging. It's used in the packaging cushions - the bits that hold the products and keep them safe. The bamboo is sourced from Jiangxi Province in China, following the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) principles and criteria.

Dell has quite some eco activities related to packaging. It's good business too - saves them money.
