China and Hong Kong are amongst the last few places in the world where bamboo is still used for scaffolding in the construction industry. It's lightweight, eco-friendly, quick to assemble and very cost effective. China has a height restriction of 6 stories but in Hong Kong it's still used in skyscapers.
