Spend any time in Shanghai and you spend time waiting on traffic lights. Many of the traffic lights here have an accompanying numeric countdown - 3, 2, 1, blast-off. Here's a design from Damjan Stanković which builds the countdown into the light - so removing the need for extra lights. All good.
